If, like me, you are one who celebrates Christmas, Christmas Week is officially upon us… which also means last week/end was probably Holiday Party Week, regardless of what winter holiday you celebrate.

I chose this little number for one such holiday party… and then wore it again for date night a few nights later. By “a few”, I could very well mean “the next day”… but then again who’s counting? Initiating Judgment-Free Zone now.

This outfit happens to be Holiday-Party-Week-Slash-Date-Night perfect for multiple reasons:

A. The satin-y skirt deems it dressy enough for a party, but the boots-in-lieu-of-stilettos keep it casual and comfy should the party turn into a night of dancing. In my book, one must always be ready for a night of dancing.

B. The amount of LEG and sliver of midriff deem it sexy enough for a night out, but the copious amounts of fluffy wrap-cardigan-thing can be used to disguise just how long you’ve been standing near the dessert table.

Ahh.. how I love a good outfit that can allow you to eat (and eat.. and eat) with no boundaries. Hashtag grateful.

C. This clutch. It’s blue, which to me says “I represent winter! Let it snow!” and also “Happy Hanukkah!”

And there you have it. The perfect outfit to get you through every holiday party for the year. Reuse. Recycle. Judgment-Free Zone remember?

Now off to LAX to catch a flight home to Chicago for Christmas! I’ve got my biggest jackets & scarves packed and ready to layer upon arrival. It’s been a while since I’ve braved this kind of cold so… prayers welcome. Hope you all have a warm holiday filled with love and copious amounts of food! So thankful for you all!
