Anyone remember a little film I shot back in late 2013 called Raven’s Touch? Well I’m happy to report that the film is FINISHED and coming to you hopefully before year’s end! Here are some photos from our premiere this past weekend at the Laemmle Music Hall in Beverly Hills 🙂
It was such fun working with these beautiful people! In the film I play the lead’s (Traci Dinwiddie, second from left) adopted daughter – a teenage brat with a bad attitude (but a soft heart). That handsome young man all the way on the left (Chris O’Neal) plays my brother, and I love how the directors (Marina Bader and Dreya Weber – on either side of me) were brave enough and REAL enough to cast us as her kids. Mixed families are real and they’re coming to Hollywood at last. But Raven’s Touch isn’t about race or sexuality – it’s about a bunch of broken, hurting, real people. It’s about family. It’s about healing. It’s about love. And speaking of love and family, two of my beloved Jilted girls were able to join me for the premiere, reminding me again how lucky I am to have such great friends – old and new 🙂
And now, in case this whole thing got too serious and mushy lovey for you… here’s a photo of me on the red carpet being a complete weirdo, because why not:
Stay tuned for when and where you can catch Raven’s Touch in your city! Thanks as always for keeping up with my little life 🙂
