Today I want to get in a car and just start driving. I want to drive up the coast and get lost in trees that breathe and air that lives and a swirling cloudy mist that envelopes me in an invigorating chill. I want to run until my lungs burn and my ears pound, pink from the cold and the exertion – the celebration – of being alive. I want to dance, anywhere, without caring how decidedly uncool it may look. I want to be filled with wonder and fall exhausted under a mess of stars. I want to be frightened into appreciating the gift of another day on this all too precious Earth. I want to hold hands and jump. I want to sing and laugh and scream until my voice breaks. So let’s get in a car and just start driving.
