Hello friends and happy December! I just finished putting up my Christmas decorations and my Christmas playlist is currently getting it’s much awaited play time. Between that and the current cold and rainy (can you believe it? rain? in LA??) situation, it’s finally beginning to feel a lot like Christmas.

A quick post today just to say THANK YOU to all of you who have been keeping up with this little blog of mine. I love having a place to share life with you all and am ever so grateful for your support and positive feedback. Thanksgiving may be over, but there’s never a wrong time to be thankful 🙂

Speaking of Thanksgiving, I spent this year’s Turkey Day very turkey-less. Believe me, I was quite ready to be mopey and sad about it, but Thanksgiving surprised me this year by being better (albeit different) than I could have hoped! To be short, there really is something to be said for the act of giving back. And though I substituted Korean BBQ for turkey and stuffing, it’s really less about the food and more about the company you share it with, am I right? Anyway, I’m very thankful today for this little life I lead, and for all of YOU whom I get to share it with 🙂

Hoping all of you are warm and feeling loved today on this first of December! Share your turkey day stories in the comments below! Would love to hear all about it!

  1. The best thing about my Thanksgiving (as a Korean-American)– all my Thanksgivings, come to think of it– is eating kimchi with my rosemary, thyme, and garlic basted turkey and honey-glazed ham (probably one of the most magical trifecta of flavors of the Holidays, apart from pumpkin pie orange-rum cheesecake). I have a huge sweet tooth.

  2. Nice blog! Actually, we don’t celebrate thanksgiving here in Belgium (maybe it’s a traditional American thing?). Thanksgiving looks very nice and fun to celebrate and eat a lot :). Greetings!
